Plateau is a knowledge, innovation and partnership portal to research and development of photonic technologies. Plateau’s mission is to facilitate the transfer of new, pre-competitive technologies in photonics to practical and/or industrial applications and the co-development of photonic solutions through interdisciplinary academic-industrial collaboration.
The trio Jonas Nachtergaele, Ruben Nachtergaele, and Kurt Stockman, aka Kapotski have become quite infamous for (re)appropriating unexpected technologies and artefacts for the creation of music.

From june 17 till 27 the second edition of Summercamp Electrified will take place in Gent. Summercamp Electrified is a ten day intensive encounter between 12 local and international artists with the city as a setting and timelab as a motor.
